The Most “Wonder”ful Time of the Year
0Christmas has come and gone, and I hope that each of you had a very happy holiday. I received more items for my Fangirl Room, courtesy of my fiancee. This is a pic of just the Wonder Woman stuff.
One of the coolest things I received was the Wonder Woman picture frame, and Lin printed a picture of Gail Simone and I from MidSouthCon to go in it.
I also LOVE the Batgirl baseball cap he got for me.

The girls, Jarael and Harley, enjoyed their Christmas goodies, too.
As a present to myself, I bought a new computer last night. My old one was about 10 years old and dying by inches. I’m looking forward to blogging more in 2011 with a more reliable computer now in my possession.
Dean Zachary Signing
0My friend Dean Zachary will be signing copies of the 2010 DCU Halloween Special from Noon to 3pm on Saturday, October 30 at Comics & Collectibles in Memphis. Dean penciled the Wonder Woman story featured in this year’s Halloween Special. Be sure to stop by his signing if you are going to be in the Memphis area.
More of Dean’s artwork can be seen at his website – http://deanzacharyart.com/
Wonder Woman by Mike Norton
0I got this sketch from Mike Norton at Superman Celebration last year.
The Pull List – 9/1/2010
0Happy September, everyone!
- Brightest Day #9 – This book hasn’t been bad, but I keep waiting for it to knock my socks off. Hopefully, the book will pick up the pace since the 12 now know why they were resurrected.
- Secret Six #25 – Six vs. Six. Bring it on!
- Star Wars: The Old Republic #3 (of 6) – Meh, but I love the era so I’ll pick it up.
- Wonder Woman #602 – Yeah, I know it came out last week, but I didn’t get by the comic shop.
Proud Fangirl is Proud
1Sorry for the lag in posting. There was an unfortunate confluence of a deadline at work and computer issues at home.
Anyway, my 12-year old nephew who I often refer to as Fanboy-in-Training spent the weekend with Lin and I. Upon entering the house, he asked if he could watch the animated Wonder Woman movie he watched the last time that he visited. Lin and I have just about every superhero movie made (animated or live-action), and Fanboy-in-Training is aware of this fact. It made my fangirl heart proud that he chose Wonder Woman over all of the other superheroes.
